Is it really abandoned? Just ask around the neighborhood until you can find someone who knows who owns it. And then buy it of course.

Remove engine, transmission, and AWD setup, replace with LS and T56 RWD combo.
Hoon endlessly in 90s Mitsubishi style without 90s Mitsubishi mechanical/electrical issues.

I'm guessing that it's got something majorly wrong under the hood. Hopefully it isn't abandoned though, because I'm guessing that it would be a massive pain in the ass to get it from the Police. Does it have plates on it or anything?

Too clean to be abandoned. If it is, you should still stay away. I really want to love these, but it's pretty much a collection of all the technologies you don't want to see in a heavily used car.
